Welcome to the world of transformative coaching.
I’m so glad you’re here.
I support parents and individuals to navigate challenges, unlock their potential, and create a life filled with purpose and fulfillment.
About Me
My coaching work emerged as I transitioned out of the classroom after 27 years in education. I found great value in being coached as I moved to my next chapter. Bringing together my years of experience empowering students and their parents, with the strength and insight I have gained by the many transitions in my life, I have found my calling.
Born and raised in South Africa, I spent my early 20s in Australia. Traveling the world, I met and later married a beautiful American and settled in Boulder, Colorado. I still live here, with my spouse, our dog and, occasionally, our two adult daughters. Transitions and building community are part of my life’s fabric. Clients can expect sessions with me to be filled with warmth, hope, and trust.
I am fascinated by the incredible potential within each human being. If you are ready to explore moving forward in your life, I would love to work with you.

How I can help
Parent Coaching
For over 30 years, I've had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the magic of children and their family relationships. Now, as a parent coach I support families through the triumphs and challenges of life. This can include home visits, consulting with and about schools, and referrals. The magic really happens as you discover your own acceptance, creativity and resilience as parents. I honor the uniqueness of each family and my role is to help identify obstacles and facilitate the discovery of your own strengths to find meaning and joy in parenting.
Life Coaching
I believe that within every individual lies a wellspring of strength, creativity, and resilience. As a Transformative Life Coach, my passion lies in partnering with individuals as they tap into this wellspring, empowering them to unlock their inner wisdom as they navigate life's challenges. My style is integrative, combining behavioral, cognitive and awareness-focused techniques. My approach is genuine and non-judgmental. It is my hope that you feel safe and comfortable enough to be your true and authentic self.
“Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.”
—Goethe
How I work
As your coach, I will partner with you to work on the issues that matter most to you. Our partnership connects at the deeply personal level of your beliefs, values, and vision.
-
My process starts with a conversation about what you want to achieve in our work together. We talk about the issues that resulted in you deciding to explore coaching about what a good outcome for our work together might be. If you are not sure, but feel that something is missing in your life, we will do exercises that help you clarify where to begin.
I'll ask questions to understand your needs and goals and I welcome any questions you have about coaching and the process. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all coaching. There are a variety of ways to work towards your goals and we'll discuss what's best for you. For some, it's creating a fast-paced plan with deadlines and accountability. For others, it’s simply having a sounding board to explore options.
This first session is also where we get to know each other so we can see whether we’re a fit. I only take on clients I feel confident I can help. Everything shared in the coaching relationship is confidential.
This initial session is between 1.5 and 2 hours long and is US$200.

Once you decide to proceed with coaching, we define what you want at the engagement's end. I will support you in holding yourself to your goals or defining new ones if your vision changes as the work progresses.
Once we have had these conversations, most life coaching clients are ready to decide on the length of our engagement. For most clients, 5 or 10-session increments work well. There is no perfect length of time to be in a coaching relationship, so the objective is to arrive at an agreement that is realistic for the work you want to do and the outcomes you want to achieve.
Parent coaching clients sometimes begin with single sessions as needed. We will explore together if your work is more process or goal oriented.
These ongoing sessions will be one hour. We meet face to face or online.
Single hour session $200
6 sessions (over 3 months) $1,100
10 sessions (over 6 months) $1,800

Once we start coaching, we meet regularly to explore the issues and ideas you want to explore.
Sessions usually start with a check-in where we talk about what happened since our last meeting and decide on the area of focus for the conversation. You determine the agenda for each session – you decide what matters today and what you want to get out of the conversation.
We’ll set the agenda together, then I’ll follow your lead on your priorities. You’re not restricted to working on the topic that originally brought you to coaching. If circumstances in your life change or if something bubbles to the surface for you, we can adapt as we go.
-
Typically I meet with clients twice a month, which allows enough time between sessions to implement anything we’ve talked about but frequently enough to keep momentum. That said, this is your time so you choose the pace that fits your needs and your lifestyle. We can schedule several of your sessions right away, or be more fluid if your schedule requires.
Let’s work together.
